In the very beginning of Peris’s career Antoni Botey played an important role , so he was the one who saw that his work was following the criteria of the classical modern landscape school.
Peris Puig admires the great masters of catalan landscape of the nineteenth century.
His technical level is seen in the colours of his paintings. In the author’s work there is a common thread which is the expression, the poetry of light and colour. In all his works the painter gives great importance to the drawing, the arrangement, the colour and the texture, in this way he expressing therefore the warmth of the light.
Peris Puig says that Mediterranean landscapes are his passion. La Costa Brava, Menorca, Mallorca and Sardinia. The sea is always close to him and his work. As he says, the sea is an inexhaustible source of life and inspiration.
